The Eurovision Song Contest stage will have movable walls which will be installed according to the needs of the performers. For the first time in Eurovision history there will also be a bridge for performers in front of the stage.
“Each country must have a stage exactly as its song requires” said Iir Hermeliin, the set designer of the Eurovision Song Contest, at a press conference. “We try to prevent the situation where there is a big empty space in the middle of which an unhappy singer stands”.
An hour and a half before the beginning of the preliminary rehearsals and the final concert there will be a warm-up concert by the band Kala and the children of the music studio of the Estonian Television. Half an hour before the beginning of the concert people will be instructed about the location of the cameras and relating information.
