The song that Hari Vare�anović will sing for Bosnia & Herzegovina in Athens is currently being recorded. The lyrics, written by Fahrudin Pecikoza and Dejan Ivanović, have a “touch of Bosnia & Herzegovina and tell about an unhappy love”. In a special vote, the fans will get the chance to pick the song title!
The production of a visual identity for the song is underway, and will be the official manuscript of the complete BH Eurosong 2006 entry. The inspiration for this very important aspect will derive from a theme of love, related to Bosnia & Herzegovina. “Our entrant at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Athens will be our own version of Romeo and Juliet”, the broadcaster wrote in a press release. Its visual identity will contain elements of ancient national decoration and the rich ethnic tradition of the people of Bosnia & Herzegovina in a modern styled variant.
The slogan of this year's entrant is Vrijeme je za BiH: it's time for Bosnia & Herzegovina!
In a live television show on BHT1, BH Eurosong 06, which will take place in the National Theatre in Sarajevo on 5th March, the representative of Bosnia & Herzegovina at the Eurovision Song Contest will be officially presented. The show can be watched on BHT 1, BHT SAT and via the web!
