Luiz Ejlli, who is going to represent Albania at this year's Eurovision Song Contest, promised to sing his entry in his native language, according to German fan club OGAE. Luiz presented his song 'Zjarr e Ftohte at OGAE's fan convention last Saturday in Munich.
At the fan convention, the question was raised wheter Luiz should sing his entry in English or Albanian. Fans overwhelmingly voted for the latter opinion and the singer promised to present his entry in his native tongue in Athens.
Since it's debut in 2004, all Albanian entrys were sung in Albanian during the national final Festivali i Kenges, but transferred into English for the presentation at the Eurovision Song Contest.
