Double platinum for Lena Philipsson

Lena Philipsson's album Det gör ont en stund på natten men inget på dan, including her Eurovision Song Contest hit Det gör ont, has reached the platinum status in Sweden. More than 160.000 copies of the album have been sold.

The album entitled after a sentence from the Melodifestivalen 2004 winning song Det gör ont was released on 4th August 2004. The 100% Swedish album includes Lena's hit singles of that time: Delirium and Det gör ont.

One year later, the album Det gör ont en stund på natten men inget på dan has reached the double platinum status. In other words, the album has been sold over 160.000 times. The single Det gör ont was a number one hit in Sweden and reached the top 20 in Denmark and the top 40 in Flanders.

Lena Philipsson finished 6th at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul and qualified Sweden for the final of this year's contest in Kyiv.
