Aline Lahoud wins Festival de la Francophonie

What was supposed to be Lebanon's first Eurovision Song Contest entry ever, became the country's song at the Festival de la Francophonie, which took place between 7th and 10th of July in Deauville, France. Moments ago, the news reached us that Aline even won the competitiion!

Representing Lebanon at the French music festival, Aline Lahoud performed Quand tout s'enfuit, originally produced to represent Lebanon with in this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

Born in 1981, Aline grew up in an artistic family: her mother Salwa Katrib is a famous singer, her father Nahi Lahoud a well-known producer and her uncle Romeo Lahoud, one of the most famous musical directors and composers in the Arab world.
