The capacity of the Ethias Arena for the 2005 Junior Eurovision Song Contest has been set on 8.000 visitors. The ticket service is in preparation and will be launched in the near future. Meanwhile, Belgium's broadcasters VRT and RTBF are preparing their own Junior Eurovision Song Contest website, junioreurovision.be.

8.000 people will be able to attend the third edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday 26th November. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be broadcast live from the Ethias Arena, a brand-new multi-purpose venue, just outside Hasselt city centre. With its 22,000 m², the Ethias Arena is the largest venue of its kind in Belgium.

The Ethias Arena has been open for barely a year, but in recent months it has already been the setting for the Hasselt International WTA Tennis Tournament, the spectacular shows Fire of Anatolia and Lord of the Dance, the musical Hair and major concerts by DJ Tiësto and Destinys Child.

During the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, 8.000 enthusiastic fans will witness the performances of their favourite junior stars live in the arena. For the tens of millions of viewers at home, the Ethias Arena will for two hours be the musical centre of Europe. Afspraak in België, rendez-vous en Belgique!
