In 2003, the Dutch Eurovision Artists foundation presented part I of the book Wanneer wordt het weer een beetje net als toen, in which the history of the Dutch national finals to the Eurovision Song Contest is captured. Part I of the book covers the period from 1956 to 1980. On 11th June, part II of the book, which covers the period 1981-2005, will be presented.

The book
Author Ferry K. van der Zant has spent many years researching the history of the Dutch national finals to the Eurovision Song Contest. The publication of part II of the book is the crowning glory of all his hard work. 50 years of Dutch national final history are now captured. On 11th June, van der Zant will receive the first copy of the book from Willem van Beusekom, director of the NPS and commentator of the Eurovision Song Contest for Dutch television for the past 20 years. Van Beusekom: “I'll present the first copy with pleasure to Ferry because with this book, he makes a valuable contribution to the capturing of the history of the Eurovision Song Contest”.

Part II of the book has almost 200 pages and is lavished with pictures, facts and stories. Althoug the book is written in Dutch, the pictures and facts make this book to a fan-collectors item, even for non-Dutch speaking people. Willeke Alberti, who participated for the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994, has written the foreword for the book.

Presentation
The presentation of the book is part of the EA-zomermiddag, the Dutch Eurovision Song Contest convention, which will be held in Rhenomare in De Meern (near Utrecht), on 11th June from 12:30 CET to 17:30 CET. More information can be found on the website of Eurovision Artists.
