Two former Eurovision contestants from the Balkans are to give a special Valentine’s concert in Switzerland.

Željko Joksimović and Severina will perform at the Stadhalle Dietikon in Zurich on 16 February. The event has been billed as Mega Valentins Koncert, and the stars are to be supported by DJs Mr Dani-E and DJ Sky.

Severina is no stranger to audiences in Zurich, having performed at the city’s Jil Club and Hallenstadion in 2010.

After winning the Evropesma competition in 2004, Željko Joksimović went on to represent Serbia and Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest of the same year with the song Lane moje. He finished in second place. Following Serbia’s victory in 2007, he hosted the 2008 contest with Jovana Janković in Belgrade. He also composed the country’s entry to the contest that year, Oro, performed by Jelena Tomašević.

In early 2012, Željko married his co-host from the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest in the Maldives. Jovana Janković was by his side when he represented Serbia at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku with the song Nije ljubav stvar finishing in third position in the grand final.

Severina won Croatia’s Dora competition in 2006 with the song Moja stikla . She went on to finish 13th at the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens later that same year.
