OGAE France held its annual preview meeting today in Paris. Since last year the French Eurovision Song Contest club votes the way it happens at the contest itself. After a semifinal and a final, Hungary triumphed with the song Forogj világ by NOX. Guest of honour at the meeting was Nicole Rieu, the French representative at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1975.

Eighty fans had gathered in Paris for the annual Eurovision Song Contest preview meeting, organised by OGAE France. All together they composed 39 juries, the way it will be happening in Kyiv too. The French jury consisted of the guest of honour Nicole Rieu (pictured) and Michèle, the founder of the singer's fanclub.

The outcome of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest according to OGAE France:

1. Hungary (238 points)
2. Iceland (214 points)
3. Romania (190 points)
4. Switzerland
5. France
6. Malta
7. Austria
8. Bosnia & Herzegovina
9. Croatia
10. Serbia & Montenegro

Six songs from the semifinal reached the top 10 in the final. The four other semifinal participants that qualified for the final were Latvia, Israel, Slovenia and Norway. The top 4 of the semifinal also became the top 4 in the final. The Hungarian entry Forogj világ by NOX triumphed after defeating Icelandic Selma and Luminita Anghel & Sistem from Romania in the race for the top spot.

Guest of honour Nicole Rieu, who represented France 30 years ago with the song Et bonjour à toi, has the Latvian song The war is not over by Walters & Kazha as her personal favourite.
