Unexpectedly or not, Portuguese broadcaster RTP did not transmit any programme last night to officially present the Portuguese song to the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. The duo 2B, which consists of Rui Drummond and Luciana thus keeps unknown to the majority of the Portuguese audience.

RTP earlier informed esctoday.com that the Portuguese entry for the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest would be presented on 31st March. However, these plans seem to have been cancelled. When the song will officially be presented remains a mystery.

The only confirmed information we have obtained so far is that 2B will perform the song Amar in Kiev. The Israeli website Eurovil revealed the song by publishing the video clips of the 39 songs for Kiev. 2B will be representing Portugal in the semifinal of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, to be held on 19th May.
