Helena Paparizou and the Greek Eurovision Song Contest delegation arrived in Malta, the third stop on their tour, late on Monday 28th March evening. Meanwhile, Maltese singer Chiara is getting ready to visit Athens for the second time.
At the Malta International Airport, the Greek singer was welcomed by Greeks who live in Malta. Helena signed autographs for them and her photograph taken with them before leaving for the hotel where she will stay for her two-day visit to the island. Her schedule is expected to be extremely heavy, as she is scheduled to appear on major Maltese television channels, with interviews on well-known radio stations and websites. On Tuesday morning, Helena Paparizou will visit Malta's historical regions of Mdina and Rabat, and afterwards will appear on popular television programmes. On Wednesday morning she'll be visiting Malta's capital, Valletta.
In the meantime, the Maltese singer, after her appearance in the Greek final, is once again arriving in Greece. Chiara and her song Angel will arrive in Athens on 30th March, for a three-day visit. During her visit she will appear in television shows and give interviews. She will depart for Malta on 1st April.
Both Helena and Chiara are bidding for a second chance at the Eurovision Song Contest. They both ended 3rd at their previous try. Chiara had represented Malta in Eurovision Song Contest 1998, receiving third place. While, Helena represented Greece in 2001 as part of the duo Antique, also receiving third place.
