Summary of the delegation heads meeting

During the head of delegations meeting in Kiev, several aspects of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest organisation have been discussed. Most of these issues have been covered earlier, but still there is something new to report!

Plagiarism?
Svante Stockselius, supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest, explained that the European Broadcasting Union received complaints about plagiarism from three countries; FYR Macedonia, Serbia & Montenegro and Latvia. However, all complaints were turned down. Apart from that, Stockselius made clear that investigation of plagiarism acusations are the participating broadcaster its first responsibility. The Ukrainian participants changed their lyrics upon the EBU its request.

Natalia Konovalova, PR manager of sponsor Nemiroff, told about the start of an international journalists contest called the Golden Fern. Creative way
Mykhailo Ilko, the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest creative director, presented his creative concept, design for printed materials, tickets, stage and video. He presented his work on a screen, gave a brief explanation of the message and concept. There will be 50 videos, and the shooting continue as soon as the snow is melted.
