While Sertab's victory and Istanbul 2004 are still clear memories, “Turkey is aiming for top three again”. Isaac Angel, one of the producers of Gülseren's team for Kiev 2005, said that to esctoday.com. Hereby we present you the Eurovision Song Contest mix of the Turkish 2005 entry Rimi Rimi Ley.

As much as eight remixes have been produced of this year's Turkish Eurovision Song Contest entry Rimi rimi ley. Versions in other languages are in production. “It is very different (…) after Sertab you saw that countries were trying to win by following us and competing with Turkish or oriental sounds. This year, Turkey comes up with a style that has never been done before at the Eurovision Song Contest”, producer Isaac Angel said. The style of the mix for the contest, which has not yet been revealed until now, can be described as “Hindou, ethno and pop”.

This version is the mix that will be used at the Eurovision Song Contest itself. “The song itself will be in Turkish, but we do have a surprise for the audience on 21st May”, Isaac Angel admitted.

Rimi Rimi Ley has been composed by Erdinç Tunç, the lyrics have been written by Göksan Arman. Ozan Colakoglu, who produces for Tarkan and Sertab Erener, arranged the Eurovision Song Contest mix. Thanks to the good result of Athena last year, Turkey already qualified for the final on 21st May in Kiev, Ukraine.
