RUNNING ORDER OF THE SEMIFINAL

The running order of the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest semifinal has been decided by a draw, which took place this afternoon in Kiev. Under guardianship of the delegation heads, people of host broadcaster NTU and a delegation of the European Broadcasting Union, 2005 hosts DJ Pasha and Volodymyr Klytschko executed the 'lottery'. Ruslana, one of the three hosts for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, could not be present due to the flu.

Global.Kryner will open the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest semifinal for Austria. The Austrians seem to have a guaranteed place in the opening of the contest. In 2002 Austria was drawn third. In 2003 and 2004 Austria was the second country to make its apearance.

Nuno Resende who'll represent Belgium was awarded the 11th spot, last year's lucky number for Ruslana in the semifinal in Istanbul. Ivan & Delfin are the last to perform in the semifinal, representing Poland. After the withdrawal of Lebanon, only 25 countries will be taking part on 19th May in Kiev.
