A message from Lebanon

Earlier today we brought you the news of Lebanon's decision to withdraw from the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. Aline Lahoud, who was supposed to sing the Lebanese entry Quand tout s'enfuit, Jad Rahbani and Romeo Lahoud, the writers of the song, would like to express their feelings in a message to the world…

A message from Lebanon…

It is a very sad moment for Aline, Romeo and I… All we wanted is to let our voice and music be heard all over the world. All we wanted is to share, in peace with all the participants, great moments of love, happiness and joy. Because in the end music brings joy to the soul.

We are sorry for all what happens in the politics around the world….

We wish that one day music will prevail….
