The Greek broadcaster ERT has put together a special programme about the preparations of Helena Paparizou in the period leading to the 50th Eurovision Song Contest. The first edition of the weekly programme was shown last night on NET, ERT's second channel.

Euromania included clips from last Wednesdays Greek national final and interviews with this years contestant, Helena Paparizou and Christos Dantes, the composer of the winner song My number one. He revealed he did not expect his song to come first in the national final. When the presenter told the composer that the Greek entry is already doing very well at online polls around Europe, he received the news with modesty: “I hope this is true and that we do well in the contest”.

One of the guests was last years Greek entrant, Sakis Rouvas, who complimented his successor's talent and appearance. “Helena is also experienced, as it's her second participation to the Eurovision Song Contest. She knows what the people expect from her. We should all offer her our support”, mister Shake it said.

The 2nd edition of Euromania will be broadcast next Friday at 21:00 CET on NET and online at eurovision.ert.gr.
