Nineteen year old singer Ira Losco won the Maltese Song for Europe Saturday night. The song '7th Wonder' recieved an astonishing 160 points from the jury's.

Ira Losco participated in Malta's song for Europe before. Last year she entered the contest with four entries. Her song 'Spellbound' ended up at the second place last year.

36.871 televoters and a jury of international representatives decided that '7th wonder' will represent the small Mediterranian island in Tallinn. The chances for Ira Losco where high this year; her other song 'One step away' ended up third.

The team behind the song is the same as the one behind the song 'Desire' from Claudette Pace. She represented Malta in 2000 at the contest in Stockholm.

Various guest appeared in the Maltese Song for Europe. Malene from Denmark performed 'Hvis mig, hvem du er' and fans got the chance to hear 'Gimme your love' performed by boyband ONE, who will represent Cyprus
