Austrian broadcaster ORF fears the participation of Alf Poier in tonight's final Song.null.fünf. A provoking Alf Poier announced not to go to Kiev when his song Hotel hotel wins. ORF already made clear that this decision would cost him 160.000 Euro.

“If Hotel hotel wins, then I don't go to Kiev,” threatens Alf Poier. “Then I will send a video tape like Elfriede Jelinek did at the Nobel Prize for Literature.” ORF however seemed to be prepared and reacted that if Hotel hotel wins and Alf Poier sticks to his decision, the Austrian runner-up will be send to Kiev. On top of that all Poier will face a penalty of 160.000 Euro.

But ORF fears more than just that. Alf Poier has introduced the Serbian word picka (a vulgar word for vagina) in the lyrics of Hotel hotel. ORF kindly begged Poier not to use the word but fears Alf Poier's participation tonight. “Poier is a ticking time bomb,” says ORF. “We are all nervous and nobody knows when to expect his next insane action.”

Song.null.fünf takes place tonight in Vienna. Five participants will compete for representing Austria in Kiev and will sing two songs each. Alf Poier's latest move is clear. He wants everybody to vote for his second song Good old Europe is dying…
