The Turkish national broadcaster TRT will run a special meeting of the advisory board today, discussing ideas on the Turkish participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. The meeting will be streamed on the TRT website.

This meeting will not decide any particular details about the 2013 Turkish entry, but will be a brainstorming session between the broadcaster and industry experts. The discussion will be about “How to make a succesful national final for Eurovision?”

TRT General Director İbrahim Şahin and President of TRT Music Department Marine Çakmakoğlu will open the meeting and then there will be submissions from the following artists, composers or journalists, amongst others: Can Bonomo, Ali Eyuboglu, Arif Sag, Demet Sağıroğlu, Erhan Guest, Fuat Güner, Garo mafia, Ray Khan, Izzet Oz, Kayak, Manga / Ferman Akgul, Purple and Beyond / Aaron Thompson, Nile, Ozdemir Erdogan, Selami Lara, Semiha Echo, Sertab Erener, Seyyal Taner, Sezen Cumhur Önal, Ali Kocatepe, Gurel Aykut Cengiz Semercioğlu.

The meeting will be streamed on trt.net.tr and trtmuzik.net.tr between 8.30 and 17.30 CET (9.30 – 18.30 local time)
