RTBF is close to a decision regarding the 2005 Belgian Eurovision Song Contest selections. The 110 submitted songs have been judged and reduced. At the end of this week some of the selected artists will still have to endure auditions. In case a national final will be organised, this one will take place on 27th February.
This year RTBF, broadcaster of the French speaking community in Belgium, has chosen for a very cautious approach of the Belgian selections for the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. RTBF will only decide on how the selection will happen after lengthy consideration.
The decision is now very near. At the end of this week, some selected artists will still have to endure final auditions. As Leslie Cable, Head of the Belgian Delegation for Kiev informed esctoday.com “then we will decide whether a televised national final, scheduled for 27th February, will take place or whether we will directly select a representative for Kiev.”
