Mr. Gezim Podgorica, director of Festivali i Kenges, now the Albanian Eurovision Song Contest selections, told that he is pleased to notice the return of successful composers in the 43rd edition of the contest. Podgorica thanks it to the participation of Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest as well as in the Mediterranean Song Contest. One of the selected composers is Edmond Zhulali, who wrote the first ever Albanian entry The image of you.

Among the singers to participate in this year's edition are Ledina Çelo, Jonida Maliqi, Agim Poshka, Rovena Stefa, Mariza Ikonomi, Shpat Kasapi, Kujtim Prodani, Kozma Dushi, Redon Makashi, Saimir Braho, Sajmir Çili and Luiz Ejlli, winner of Etheve 2004, the Albanian version of Idols.

Last year Anjeza Shahini won Etheve and confirmed her talent in the Albanian selections for the Eurovision Song Contest. In Istanbul she reached the 7th place with The image of you.
