Monaco is very interested in joining the Junior Eurovision Song Contest next year in Belgium. Phil Bosco, responsible for Eurovision matters in the Principality, informed us that a project has been created which is getting the interest of the Monegasque government.

I have done a request towards the Monegasque government to make Monaco participate at next year's Junior Eurovision Song Contest,” says Phil Bosco to esctoday.com. “The Minister of State was very interested in the proposal.” Bosco also submitted the project, based on castings to be held in all schools in Monaco, to the Principal of National Education.

The only barrier left is Monegasque broadcaster TMC, but Bosco is very optimistic that he can also convince the direction of TMC of the importance of this project, since the Monegasque institutions fully support the project.
