The lights are still on at SVT's office in Stockholm, where a jury is selecting the 28 songs for Melodifestivalen 2005. During the past hours, the jury reduced 1,200 songs to a selection of 99 potential participants.

Among the 99 songs, songs in Swedish, English and Spanish can be heard. Tuesday afternoon SVT will announce the 28 songs for Melodifestivalen 2005. The winner of the Swedish national selection, which takes place in four semifinals, a second-chance show and a final, represents Sweden at the 50th Eurovision Song Contest.
