Ukrainian broadcaster NTU has revealed the names of the 75 participants at their national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2005. A total of 527 songs have been submitted by 202 singers. Furthermore NTU seems to admit that they have seen the selection way too big and warns for songs with a very low quality.

On 22nd and 23rd October videos for all 75 songs will be shot. A drawing ceremony to decide the running order will be held on 24th October. From November on NTU will air 3 shows per week, 15 weeks long: short shows of 25 minutes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and one of 45 minutes on Sundays, including a televoting. Each week the winner qualifies for the final to be held on 25th February.
