Thomas, the French representative at the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest, will sing Si on voulait bien (If we really wanted to). His song will be released on single by BMG France on 9th November.

On 20th September Thomas won Eurovision Junior 2004 – La sélection, the French selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2004 to be held in Lillehammer. During the live show organized by France 3 the eleven finalists had to sing existing songs, with the consequence that the winner still had to write a song for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Thomas, the 14 year-old winner from Buis les Baronnies, succeded in writing his own song in less than three weeks. The song he willl perform in Lillehammer is entitled Si on voulait bien (If we really wanted to). Thomas wrote both lyrics and music.

Si on voulait bien can be described as an uptempo song with rock and folk influences. With guitar and accordion sounds it is similar to the style of French artists like Bénabar or Les Négresses Vertes. Si on voulait bien will be released on single by BMG France on 9th November.
