After finishing her Ahora 2004 tour, which took her throughout Spain from April to October, Spain's Eurovision Song Contest 2002 representative Rosa is now concentrating on other projects such as a Christmas album, to be released on 16th November and a DVD, scheduled for 2005.
In 2002, Rosa's self-titled debut album, including her Eurovision entry Europe's living a celebration, went all the way to the top of the Spanish chart in its first week of release and achieved the quintuple-platinum certification for moving sales up to 500.000 copies. Her second album Ahora (Now), released in October 2003 sold more than 300.000 copies, good for triple platinum.
Navidad junto a ti (Christmas next to you) will be Rosa's third studio album since she burst into the Spanish music scene in 2002 by winning the first edition of Operación Triunfo. The album will feature traditional and brand new Christmas songs in Catalan, Spanish and English. As Spanish radio station Los 40 reported, the album will be available as from 16th November.
In early 2005, Rosa will also launch a DVD, recorded at her two latest concerts in Barcelona which have put an end to her 2004 Spanish tour. Rosa represented Spain at the 2002 Eurovision Song Contest in Tallinn and reached the 7th place.
