Michal Wisniewski, who recently announced he would like to take part in the Austrian preselections for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev, now has acting plans. The charismatic singer will appear in the Polish soap opera Na wspolnej aired by Polish private station TVN and will star in the movie Lawstorant.
The successful Polish singer Michal Wisniewski, who already recorded several top selling albums and gained the title of wealthiest man in Polish showbizland, now tries his abilities in front of a TV camera.
Polish private TV station TVN engaged Wisniewski for a supporting role in the popular soap opera Na wspolnej. Together with his wife Mandaryna, he earlier featured in his own reality show, aired on TVN.
Later on Wisniewski will also make his movie debut. Late September, the film Lawstorant will be shot. Wisniewski will play the leading role of Fragles, an intelligent businessman who suffers financial troubles because of a gambling obsession.
Michal Wisniewski reached the 7th place for Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with his former band Ich Troje. They sang the song Keine Grenzen – Zadnych granic.
