'Eurovision Song Contest 2005 19 and 21 May'

If we may believe the Danish broadcaster DR, the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest takes place in late May. DR mentioned 19th May as date for the qualifier round and 21st May for the final.

A small note at DR's national final website says “…først ved semifinalen torsdag den 19. maj og derefter forhåbentlig i finalen lørdag den 21. maj…”, which means that 19 and 21 May can be written down in your agenda!

Host broadcaster NTU said to esctoday.com that the dates for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest will be made public in September, together with some other basic information about the contest.

It's possible that DR just assumes these dates will be selected, but that doesn't clear up why DR mentioned Thursday and Saturday, instead of the 'usual' Wednesday and Saturday (like this year). Just an error, or carefully chosen? One rehearsal day between qualifier round and the final is theoretically possible, as this year, the day after the qualifier round (Thursday) was a free day for the delegations.
