Tonight the music show Tien Om Te Zien was broadcast on VTM in Flanders. This week the show had a Eurovision Song Contest touch since both Ruslana and Xandee performed. Ruslana received a gold record for selling more than 25.000 copies of Wild dances in Belgium. As Ruslana said herself: 'This is my first victory after Eurovision!'

The relation between Ruslana and Belgium will always remain a bit special. Belgium was the first country to order the Wild dances single, two weeks before the Eurovision Song Contest and this year's winning song was already played on the radio before the contest took place.

Soon after the Eurovision Song Contest, beginning of June, Ruslana visited Belgium for promotion. Wild dances was announced 'single of the week' by Radio Donna and Radio 2 and climbed up the charts to number one in Flanders. The place she has already been occupying for seven consecutive weeks by now.

The overwhelming success begged Ruslana for another visit and so she performed at Flanders' biggest music show Tien Om Te Zien. After her performance Ruslana received a gold record for selling more than 25.000 copies of Wild dances in Belgium. It is the first award of this kind ever received by any Ukrainian singer abroad! To quote Ruslana's own words: “This is my first victory after Eurovision!”.

In a reaction to esctoday.com, Ruslana said she has fallen in love with Belgium. “I have fallen in love with the country. My biggest wish right now is to get there once again and to give 2 or 3 full-fledged concerts so that the Belgian people feel the energy of my Wild Show!”. Furthermore she had to confess she's fond of Brussels sprouts and Belgian chocolate.

Ruslana's performance as well as the one by Xandee can be watched here, on the website of Tien Om Te Zien.

We kindly thank Vasyl Yablonski for the cooperation.
