Greece has gone absolutely crazy with the unexpected victory of its national football team at the UEFA Euro2004 tournament. Celebrations are taking place all over the country. Last Monday, the national football team were officially honoured at Kallimarmaro stadium in Athens. Another European champion, all familiar Ruslana, happened to be in Greece for a number of live appearances and didn�t miss the chance to join in the celebrations!

It emerged last Monday that the winner of this year's Eurovision Song Contest, Ruslana, would join other celebrities who, along with members of the Greek government, paid tribute to the Greek national football team at Kallimarmaro stadium. Having won the Eurovision Song Contest last May, Ruslana could claim that she is a European champion on her own right!

Indeed, the television cameras got a glimpse of the Ukrainian singer being among the spectators. In case she actually met her counterparts in football that evening, could it be that her affections will now switch from Sakis Rouvas to Theo Zagorakis? The captain of the Greek team was officially named the best player of the Euro2004 tournament and one of the Greek fans� favourite slogan has since been: Third at Eurovision with Sakis, first at Euro2004 with Zagorakis!
