Danish broadcaster DR announced the 10 performers of the songs for the national final, the Melodi Grand Prix 2002.

The show will be hosted by Signe Svendsen and Michael Carøe. Signe assisted Rollo & King on stage last year during the Eurovision Song Contest.

Some names we already know are Tommy Rasmussen and Helge Engelbrecht ! Malene Mortensen, also participant in the MGP, won a soundmix show in Denmark calling 'Star for one night' (Stjerne for en aften). That show was hosted by Natasja Crone-Bach.
