After a string of career failures, Swiss Eurovision representative of 2004, Piero Esteriore, returns to his home of Sicily, Italy, to “rethink his musical career”, according to news service news.search.ch.
The 24 year old singing hairdresser, who finished fourth in the Swiss tv casting show MusicStar, but later on won the Swiss national final and thus represented the country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004, came last in the semi final, scoring zero points for his entry Celebrate!. Subsequently, his record deal with Universal was canceled. Now, Piero even had to release his manager for financial reasons.
As news.search.ch reports, Piero still plans to return to the music business after what he considers as “holidays”.
