The Greek broadcaster, ERT, honoured Sakis Rouvas and the Greek delegation with a splendid dinner at a well known Athenian restaurant for their successful performance in the 49th Eurovision Song Contest. The event was reflective of the great interest the artist managed to create for the contest in the country.

The popular artist, known for his humble attitude in real life, did not do any statements to the media present. Nikos Terzis, the composer of Shake it, expressed his view about the third position that his song achieved: ”What's really important is people's love for Shake it. They stop me on the street to express their love for our effort”.

Daphne Bokota, the popular anchor of the Eurovision Song Contest in Greece, said:”I've been known to have supported the Eurovision Song Contest even at times when it wasn't so popular over here. It is therefore really touching to see that my efforts have blossomed!”.
