BBC THREE, a digital channel for the BBC, revealed how the United Kingdom’s regions voted in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in a programme called Eurovision…A Little Bit More. They also stated that the UK received 469, 240, more than what SVT claimed the UK had received, who had stated it to be just over 415,000.

Host Lorraine revealed which country came top three in each UK region, as well as getting expert opinions on all the songs from two Fame Academy coaches including Carrie Grant, Jessica from Liberty X, Joe Mace and a Eurovision Expert who also took part in a special Eurovision Mastermind.
Lisa Andreas who finished 5th on the night came 1st in three of the UK regions, Wales, Northern Ireland and England. Despite this the UK awarded the 12 points to Greece because they received the most phone votes overall, probably in England and Northern Ireland. It was only in Scotland that Greece did not come in the top three.

Here is how each region voted:

Wales
1st – Cyprus
2nd – Sweden
3rd – Greece

Northern Ireland
1st – Cyprus
2nd – Greece
3rd – Sweden

Scotland
1st – Ireland
2nd – Sweden
3rd Cyprus

England
1st – Cyprus
2nd – Greece
3rd – Sweden
