Bulgaria interested in 2005 Eurovision Song Contest

BNT, Bulgarian National Television, informed the European Broadcasting Union that Bulgaria is interested in participating at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. BNT made the decision at the suggestion of Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg Gotha of Bulgaria.

Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg Gotha of Bulgaria invited the national broadcaster BNT to join next year's Eurovision Song Contest. Thereupon Bulgarian National Television informed the European Broadcasting Union that they are interested in participating.

Financing the participation still is a problem for Bulgaria but they are convinced that a solution will be found soon.

At the moment Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg Gotha is paying a four-day official visit to Ukraine.
