Though she was predicted top 5 in almost every poll, Xandee returns to Belgium with only 7 points and a very disappointing 22nd place. Right after the final of the Eurovision Song Contest the TV1 News had a live connection with Xandee in Istanbul.

Xandee said to be a little disappointed about the result but added: “We did a great performance, we really don't doubt about that. We're proud we were here!” About this year's Eurovision Song Contest winner Ruslana she was very clear. “Ruslana is a deserved winner. She was my personal favourite too!”

Furthermore the TV1 News had a live connection with Xandee's home town Tienen where thousands of people had followed the Eurovision Song Contest on big screen at the Big Square. Same reactions were caught there: people were proud of Xandee but disappointed about the result. To end with, Xandee thanked all people in Tienen for the support.

Tomorrow, Xandee can expect a warm welcome at Brussels National Airport after which she will be welcomed at the town hall of Tienen.
