The Dutch delegation already visited Istanbul three weeks ago, to get an impression of the city and to check out the venue. What they saw was pretty much of nothing. “Nothing was finished around the venue when we came here a few weeks ago… a lot changed in the meantime”.

Cornald Maas and Willem van Beusekom, the Dutch commentators, visit the press conferences to get to know more about the participants. As usual, long but decent cues are being created when the CDs and press kits come up.

A hang-over
