Two days before he's heading to Istanbul, sponsor Vodafone organised a farewell party for Sakis Rouvas, last night in Athens, Greece. As Sakis is one of the favourites for victory in Istanbul, the greek delegation is feeling very optimistic.
To wish Sakis Rouvas good luck, a farewell party was organised last night in Athens by his sponsor Vodafone. Lots of journalists and artists attended the party where the new video of the greek song for the Eurovision Song Contest Shake it, shot on the island of Santorini, was presented for the first time.
The greek delegation said to be very optimistic. Not without a reason, because Sakis Rouvas is currently ranked very high in the bets for the winner of the 49th Eurovision Song Contest.
Nikos Terzis, the composer Shake it and present at the party too, revealed his favourites for victory in Istanbul. According to his intuition Greece, Poland, Russia, Serbia & Montenegro, Germany, Iceland, Israel and Cyprus will fight for the victory.
Sakis Rouvas will be on stage during the qualifier round of the Eurovision Song Contest, 12th May, in Istanbul.
