The fourth heat of Melodifestivalen 2004, Sweden's selection for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, took place tonight in Malmö. After Dark and Lena Philipsson came out as the winners.

The pink mini skirts triomphed tonight in Sweden's Melodifestivalen. After Dark and Lena Philipsson, all wearing sexy pink dresses, stole the show and qualified for the final in Globen next Saturday. Travesty act After Dark sang La Dolce Vita, Lena Philipsson's song is titled Det gör ont.

Finishing third and fourth in the televote, Shirley Clamp with Min kärlek and Andrés Esteche with Olé Olé get another chance tomorrow in the second chance round.

During the interval act, Melodifestivalen host Charlotte Nilsson once again performed her winning Eurovision song of 1999: Take me to your heaven.

Sweden is directly qualified for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest that takes place on 15th May in Istanbul.
