The Croatian selection of their representative at the Eurovision Song Contest takes place this weekend in the seaside resort of Opatija. Just like last year, the selection process is three days long: two semifinals (Friday and Saturday) and the grand final on Sunday. All finalists and the big winner of DORA 2004 will be determined by the use of televoting.

24 songs compete to become this year's Croatian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest, 12 per semifinal. Six songs from each semifinal will proceed to Sunday's final, all selected with televoting.

You can find the full line-up for both semifinals in our national finals page.

The Croatian broadcaster HRT offers a live webcast from Opatija, which has already started at 10:00 CET on Friday with rehearsals for Friday's show. You can tune in from the official DORA 2004 website (Real Player or Windows Media Player required). Needless to say, all three TV shows will be broadcast as well.

Due to last year's mediocre result of Claudia Beni's Vie nisam tvoja, Croatia has to compete in the qualifying round of the Eurovision Song Contest in order to secure themselves a spot in the final evening in Istanbul.
