Piero Esteriore & the Musicstars are going to represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul with the song Celebrate.
12 participants competed in the Swiss Eurosong 04, each four of them sent from the French-speaking, the Italian-speaking and the German-speaking part of the country. Piero Esteriore is one of the four representants for the German-speaking part. He participated in SF DRS' casting show MusicStar, where he came fourth.
Mario Pacchioli came second in Eurosong 04 with By your side, followed by Caroline Agostinio with Le monde danse.
The voting procedere was divided into the three aforementioned regions, which voted as follows:
German-speaking part (SF DRS):
