After four semifinals which ended two weeks ago, tonight the Slovenian representative for the Eurovision Song Contest will be known. The show will be hosted by Mi�a Molk, backed by Bernarda �arn and Peter Poles.
The concept of the final is same as last year. First, 16 songs will be performed, followed by televoting. Votes from TV and radio viewers will be added to the votes of a mixed Slovenian-international jury. It is rumoured, but nowhere confirmed, that last year's Eurovision Song Contest winner Sertab Erener will sit in the jury.
Three songs receiving top amount of points will perform again and after that a new televoting will occur, determining the winner of Ema 04 and the main Slovenian passenger to Istanbul.

Due to poor result of Karmen Stavec's Nanana last year in Riga, Slovenia has to win it's ticket to the grand Eurovision Song Contest final in Istanbul by competing in the preliminary round taking place on 12 May also in Istanbul.
