A somewhat surprising result of the fourth semifinal of the Dutch Nationaal Songfestival 2004. Not the well-known group Mai Tai, not the famous Dutch singer Manuela Kemp but Cherwin and Anja Wessels (photo by songfestival.nl) got selected for the final, which takes place next week Sunday.

The jury selected Anja Wessels with Heart of stone, the televoters at home chose for Cherwin with Show me the love, placing Anja Wessels as their second favorite.

Voting for the wildcard is possible from now until 23:00 CET Friday night. The jury will announce their two wildcards Monday, during op weg naar het songfestival. The six wildcard participants will sing their songs during the wildcard round next Thursday. The final takes place at 22nd February.
