28 years after they sung My little World to a respectable fifth place for Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest in Den Haag, pop duo Waterloo & Robinson felt it is time for a return. You can change the World is the name of their new song, with which they will take part in this year's Austrian preselection song.null.vier, where they have to compete against nine others.

In a press conference, Austrian broadcaster ORF today named nine of the all in all ten participants of this year's national final, all of them supplied by the country's record companies. The name of the tenth artist, a newcomer selected by ORF, will be announced later this week.

Other prominent participants are Sabine Kapfinger alias Zabine, a former band member of Hubert van Goisern's Alpinkatzen (Alp Cats). She became famous for mixing traditional Austrian Volksmusik, including yodeling, with beats, house, electro and pop music. “Ide” is Christian Ide Hintze, director of the Austrian School of Poetry. His song Link love will be sung in four languages.

The participants field also sees a multicultural band named Mizan, conducted by Turkish born band leader Can Isik. Their song is called My Istanbul. Rich white Man is the song title of band 5 in Love, performing 40's swing music. Check our country page of Austria for the complete participants list.

The Austrian final song.null.vier will take place on 5 March at 21:10 CET and is going to be hosted by Oliver Auspitz und Boris Uran. Due to their good result in 2003, Austria will start at the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on 15 May.
