Turkish sources told esctoday.com that Meltem Cumbul is the female part of the host couple of the Eurovision Song Contest 2004. Bulent Osma said that in a radio show on TRT FM.

Meltem Cumbul (1970) is currently one of the most populair actresses of Turkey. She lived in the UK for a year and played in several big theatre productions. She started acting in Turkey in 1992 and plays a role in Gurbet Kadini at this moment. At the 12th Ankara Film Festival she received the award for best female role, which she also got awarded on the 40th edition of the Portakal Film Festival in Antalya.

For the male part of the host couple, the name of Tarkan was already on the rumours' list. It appears that Tarkan has indeed been asked to host the show, but he is still considering. Bulent Osma also said that Enrique Iglesias is one of the candidates.
