The Spanish jury op Operación Triunfo voted out four songs during the first edition of the Eurovision shows. The decision was taken by the jury when voted out Mi obsesión, performed by Davinia, who was “the favorite of the audience in the studio and the fans”, if we may believe eurovision-spain.com.
This means, the song Mi obsesión cannot be selected for Istanbul anymore and even Spanish audience could not vote for it next week because the song has been eleiminated by the jury. The studio audience was clearly not amused and started boo-calling. Carlos Lozano, the host of the show, tried to stop the audience to continue the show.
The four eliminated songs were:
Davinia: Mi obsesión
Ramón: Cuestión de alma
Vicente: Nadie como tú
Miguel: Hoy te quiero más
This week, the audience will vote for the 8 songs that are not eliminated tonight.
