Another gala of the Spanish Operación Triunfo series ended last night on TVE, with a first contestant voted out of the academy.

The Spanish public had the past week to decide between Sonia and Isabel, who were nominated to leave in the previous show, last Monday. Isabel only got 37,6% of the viewers votes, a fact that put an end to her Operación Triunfo experience last night.

Sonia was nominated to drop out again, but was rescued by the jury members. The other contestants who did'nt win the public's vote were Israel (who was saved by the academy teachers) and Miriam (who was saved by her fellow contestants for a second week in a row). Fede (Federico) and Jorge are this week's final nominees to drop out and are now at the mercy of the Spanish voters.

Vicente won the title of the viewers favourite contestant, for a second successive week. Ramon won the second place and Mario took the third.
