The second gala of Spain's Operación Triunfo was broadcasted last night on TVE.

Vicente became the new season's first public favourite, after he won the majority of the viewers votes in the passing week. Ramon and Mario won the second and third places, accordingly. 5 girls reached the last favoured positions: Leticia, Isabel, Nuria, Miriam and Sonia. The show's jury chose to rescue Leticia, the academy teachers saved Nuria and the fellow contestants chose Miriam. Now its up to spanish public to decide between Isabel and Sonia- one of them will leave the academy in next week's show, according to the viewers vote.

Rosa, the winner of the first edition in 2002 and Spain's entrant to the Eurovision Song Contest of that year, was the guest star last night. After performing on stage, she joined the jury panel, a role which seemed to embarrass her, as she was on the other side just two years ago.
