Johnny Logan to write a song for the Dutch final

Yesterday, in the Dutch television programme “Op weg naar het Songfestival” (The road to the Song Contest) it was announced that Johnny Logan has written a song that has been submitted for the Dutch national final of next year.

The programme focuses on the preparation of several artists who want to take part in the Dutch national final the next years. One of them is Arno Kolenbrander who finished 3rd in the Dutch national final of 2000 with the song “One step behind”.

It was announced that the song that Arno wants to sing at the Dutch national final was written by Johnny Logan. Logan has won the Eurovision Song Contest twice as a singer (1980 and 1987), twice as songwriter (1987 and 1992) and finished 2nd as songwriter in 1984. Dutch fans hope now that Logan hasn't lost his writing touch.
