Julia Volkova, one of the two Russian t.AT.u girls, is hospitalised due to appendicitis.


18-year-old Julia Volkova was driving in her car when suddenly she felt nausea and got a stomachache. As the pain got worse she quickly drove to the emergency unit at Moscow General Hospital, where she was diagnosed with appendicitis. Julia was immediately put on the operating-table and is still in hospital for observation.

This Saturday, Julia and Elena Katin, the other half of t.A.T.u, were to give a concert in Monte Carlo, but for obvious reasons it has had to be cancelled.
